RAUPLATE heat transfer plates are designed for radiant heating systems for new construction and retrofit installations. Aluminum heat transfer plates are used in joist space installations to enhance heat transfer and improve efficiency. RAUPLATE heat transfer plates are a higher performing alternative to talon-up joist space construction methods. RAUPLATE is designed with two pipe channels and predrilled holes to make installation fast and easy. RAUPLATE is screwed to the underside of the subfloor in the joist space and 1/2 in. RAUPEX pipe snaps into the plates for a convenient installation. Radiant floor heating systems are quieter than many other heating systems, but no one can ever guarantee that a heated floor will be noise free. By following proper installation practices and observing all manufacturers' recommendations, noise during heating system operation can be minimized.
